WE NEED YOUR HELP

We are sponsoring a table at the upcoming Slidell EOC HamFest for the purpose of funding our Scholarship Program for 2018. As you probably know by now, we were very successful this first year. Thanks to the generosity of our members, we were able to raise not only the $1,000.00 we needed for 2017, but, a little extra to start working on 2018. Depending on our future success, we may be able to consider increasing the Scholarship or funding more than one Scholarship.

Bring us your spare STUFF! You know, that SWR meter, mic, key, switch, power supply, old rig that’s been cluttering up your shack for a while, SWL receiver you had when you were a kid. We’ll put it on the table and do our best to turn it into something good for a deserving student.

Volunteers are needed to staff the table. If you have anything for us, or would like to volunteer to help, please email us at: oarc@w5sla.net.
